Your wedding morning can be busy enough without wondering whether your makeup artist is running late, whether your hair is going to last or whether you’ll still feel like yourself when everything is finished.
That’s where experience matters.
I take care of the details so you don’t have to.
From your initial enquiry, through to the wedding morning itself, everything is thoughtfully planned to make the experience feel organised, relaxed and personal. And because I’ve spent years working alongside brides, bridesmaids, Mums and families on wedding mornings, I know that sometimes my role goes beyond hair and makeup.
It’s helping calm a nervous bride.
It’s fastening the buttons on a dress.
It’s making sure the veil sits perfectly.
It’s knowing when to chat and when to simply let you take in the moment.
It’s being someone you feel completely comfortable having there.
“From the moment I met her, Hayley was so kind, funny and easy to talk to. She was such a delight to have in the room with us and went above and beyond for me and my whole bridal party. I am so grateful I had her there on my wedding morning!”
-Emma
“Regardless of my hair and makeup, I would honestly have paid just for Hayley’s presence – she is so kind, so friendly and just honestly such a lovely person. We have all spoken about her so many times since the day, as our morning would not have been the same without her. She kept me calm when I began to stress, helped organise all of the little things that hadn’t crossed my mind and, stayed with us right up until the moment I left to walk up the aisle.”

Consultation
(Recommended 6-8 months before the wedding)
I am proud of my consultation services. Some brides tell me that they don’t hear from certain suppliers until a couple of months from the wedding… that could never be me! I want you to have full trust in me as your hair and makeup artist, so from day one, I am here to answer any questions you may have. I am invested in your wedding from the start.
After you book with me, I schedule a video ‘vision call’ with all my brides. This is the chance for us to get to know each other better and discuss your dream hair and makeup look. Talking about hair and makeup is my passion, so I thrive off listening to your ideas and any questions you may have. Now you may have lots of ideas, which is great – I always love seeing a Pinterest Board! Or you may not have any idea at all, which is okay too. By talking to you about your wedding themes/colours, your hair/skin type, any facial/hair features you want to enhance, I can help recommend styles that will enhance and compliment you.

Preview
(Recommended 2-4 months before the wedding)
This is where your vision becomes real. Your preview isn’t simply a practice run. It’s time to slow down, enjoy being pampered and work together to discover a look that feels completely true to you. The preview lasts for up to 3 hours and we will try out at least one look that you might like for the big day. I will communicate with you throughout our time together, so please don’t be shy if there is anything you want to change. Feedback is welcomed to ensure you feel comfortable, confident and, above all, feel your best self for your special day and.
The preview is one of my favourite times to spend with a bride – you get to hear all the exciting details about their wedding and for the bride, it’s a chance to actually relax and enjoy the calming experience of having your hair and makeup done. As a fully mobile artist, you are taken care of from the comfort of your home. Previews are carried out Monday-Friday and availability can be discussed when enquiring if you have a specific date in mind i.e. teachers who need a half term holiday appointment.

Your Wedding Morning
The Big Day has arrived
When your wedding morning arrives, everything we’ve planned comes together. Having had your preview, you’ll feel relaxed knowing your chosen look will come to life perfectly. To help keep things organised, you will have received a schedule of timings for the morning and advice to everyone for prepping their skin and hair for the morning. I will arrive at least 15 minutes before the first allotted time, to set up my kit, to allow for a smooth start to the day.
Sometimes my role goes beyond the hair and makeup as I understand how busy the wedding morning can be. I have been known to dry flower bouquet bottoms, help the bride get into her dress, pop the champagne for the bridesmaids, the list goes on… I take great pride in this as it’s so special for me to be a part of your day. I will always stay for any last minute touch-ups, so if you shed a tear during that family reveal photo, you know you’ll still look fresh to walk down the aisle.
Take the wedding morning moments in because, one day, when you are looking back at your wedding photographs, you’ll want to remember how you felt, as well as how good you looked.
